The Group’s history dates back to its humble beginnings in 1982, when it was started by its founder – CEO, Mr. Rupak Ved in Dubai with just 50 employees. He was later, joined by the Tawoos group of Oman and The International Investor of Kuwait as shareholders. Global Fasteners, the group’s venture into the screw and specialty fasteners business started operations in November 1999.

In 1986, Dubai Wire shifted to Jebel Ali Free Zone in a relatively small 35,000sq.ft. leased shed and became one of the first few companies to start manufacturing operations within the Free Zone. Since then we had two major expansions, one in 1996 to broaden the product mix and the other in 1997 to increase capacity. Spread over a sprawling one million square feet area, Dubai Wire is today the largest exporter of value added industrial and construction fasteners from the Middle East. In the Year 2003, the Dubai Wire Group was the single largest shipper from the UAE to the United States through Maersk Sealand.

Dubai Wire has a dominant position in the US markets in its product segments. We manufacture a complete range of collated nails classified as Plastic Collated, Paper Collated and Wire Collated. The nails are primarily made from mild steel wire rods, while some of them are made from heat-treated steel or stainless steel for specialised requirements. The collated nails have finish in various types like bright, vinyl coated, electro galvanized and hot dip galvanized.

Global Fasteners’ product range includes a wide range of heat treated and hardened screws, fasteners and masonry nails, made from cold heading quality steel. We offer screws both in bulk & collated, these fasteners are either Phosphate Coated in Black or Gray finish or Electroplated in Yellow or White Zinc finish, as per customer requirements.
